| Title: |
Bells of Grace |
| Who: |
Any high school student (grades 9 - 12) who has a music background (piano, school band, etc.) Those who would like to try handbells are also welcome. |
| When: |
Weekly, Sunday mornings from 11:30 a.m. - 12 noon during the school year |
| Where: |
In the balcony |
| How Long: |
Preferably for three years in high school, but a one-year commitment (September - May) is possible. |
| What: |
We play handbells to praise God with music and to enchance the worship service. While we work on perfecting a piece by being introduced to various handbell techniques, students are challenged to become better musicians and bellringers. (It is also a conficence builder.) This is also a time to come together as fellow Christians and share time together as friends. We get to know each other well and the students know I am there for them not only as a director but as a friend. It is easier if a person reads music, but it isn't absolutely necessary. |
