Sunday School starts September 13th! Classes (September 13th – September 27th) will begin approximately 10:20am, following the 9am service. Little Lambs (3yr – K) and Youth (7th – 12th graders) meet upstairs. 1st – 6th graders meet in the Sanctuary. On September 27th, ALL students and parents meet in the sanctuary for information on the Christmas Service. Parents, check your e-mail for more information, or pick up a schedule in the narthex.
Wednesday Night Meals resume September 16th! All are invited to come have a good meal and enjoy good fellowship. The meal begins at 6pm. At 6:45pm the pastor leads us in a short devotion. A free-will donation is accepted (suggested donation of $3 per person.)
College Student Addresses Wanted! Our Savior would like to maintain contact with our college students who are away from home right now in order to offer them our encouragement and support to remain faithful to their Lord during their college years. If your child or grandchild, who is an OSLC member, is away at college, please supply us with their mailing address. You may drop this off at the church office or email Pastor Koopman at pastorjohnkoopman@gmail.com
Join us on October 28 for a special Reformation presentation led by our students. Students will research, write, and present their findings about Martin Luther and the Reformation, exploring its history and impact on the Christian Church. An informational meeting for students and families interested in participating will be held on September 9 at 7:00 pm (Following the Confirmation meeting). This is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn more about church history while developing their research and presentation skills. We invite everyone to come and support our students as they share what

Arlington Zone Fall Rally – will be taking place on September 19th at Our Savior Lutheran Church. “See to it That No One Takes You (& your children, grandchildren, fellow Christians . . .) Captive. Adult men of OSLC: Join us for our annual men’s canoe trip to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCA), September 23–27. Enjoy hiking, fishing, hunting, daily time in God’s Word, and singing praises with brothers in Christ in the beauty of God’s creation. No prior outdoor experience is necessary! The estimated cost is about $100 per person, including permits, canoe rentals, and travel expenses. Interested? Contact Zak Tess at 920-265-8436 or speak with him after church for more information.
Outreach Missions is collecting supplies for the Samaritans Purse Shoeboxes. Our goal is to put together ten boxes for each age group (40 boxes). Needed: Crayons, colored pencils, pencils, pencil sharpeners, tooth brushes, kids socks, small balls, stuffed animals (or beanie babies). Please see the display in the narthex. LCMS Stewardship Ministry: Luke 17:17-19, “Then Jesus answered . . . ‘Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?’ And he said to him, ‘Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well.’” Faith and thanksgiving go together. How could they not go together? Our Lord gave Himself for us and we trust Him and His every Word. Once we have this faith, we want to say thank you – it’s only natural. Thus, our stewardship is a natural part of the Christian faith. We thank the Lord with our gifts which enable the church to reach more people with Good News of Christ.

LBT – Back to the Bible Summit on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 from 10 am to 1 pm. Join the summit online or in person at St. John Lutheran Church (1975 Saint Johns Dr., Woodbury, MN) for deeper conversations with other area leaders. The Summit is free, but registration is required.
