Altar Guild

Title:	Altar Guild
Who:	Anyone
When:	There is only one evening meeting per year to review and discuss issues and set the service schedule for the coming months: the first Monday of October. Each member takes 1 month to be responsible for the Altar Guild duties.
Where:	Our Savior’s. Meetings are in the fireplace room.
How Long:	Your commitment is only for one-two months per year. Renewable annually forever.
What:	Responsible for flowers on the altar each week. Monitor flower cooler for funeral flowers and use as needed. Maintain cleanliness in flower cooler and Altar Guild room. Paraments are to be changed as needed according to the church year calendar. Insure Altar clothes are clean and in good repair. Responsible for Confirmation gowns and stolls. Insure Acolyte & Elders gowns are clean and in good repair. Take to Dry Cleaners as needed. Festival Days – (Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.) Plan special decorations as determined by the Altar Guild. General Cleaning – main altar area, chapel altar area, and communion kneeler.
